Programme profile
Physics encompasses the study of the universe from the largest galaxies down to the very structure of matter itself. Its concepts, from relativity to quantum mechanics, challenge the imagination. Physics and technologies developd by physicists play a major role in chemistry, biology, medicine, electronics, geology, and in teh applied fields of optics, nanotechnology, computer science, and engineering.
A physics education develops problem-solving skills and provides a firm knowledge of basic science and the ability to apply and adapt that knowledge within the workplace.

Entry is to Common First Year in the BSc Science.
Modules are then selected to construct a programme meeting your interests and career objectives
Entry Requirements
Students must present six subjects of which two must be at grade C or above at Advanced GCE (A-Level. The other subjects must be at least at grade C or above on GCSE or Advanced Subsidiary GCE (AS) papers. The six subjects must include: English, Mathematics and a language other than English.
A-Level required, at Grade C or above, in Maths and a Lab Science.
