Programme profile
This programme teaches you to become a manager in any kind of international company. The programme gives you a good grounding in core business subjects and an opportunity to specialise in one of three areas: Business to Business; Retail (& Small) Business; Food & Agribusiness. Each of these specialisations is offered at different local universities, though the main part of your study takes place at Stenden University.
The course is modular with a thematic-interdisciplinary approach. We teach through Problem Based Learning through which you work independently and at your own level of knowledge. Critical components are the practical elements of the education and your work placement in the fourth year.
Programme content
During the first year, you will study a broad range of core business subjects, including Marketing & Sales Management, Management Accounting, International Management & Organisation and International Business Environment.
In the second year will learn in greater depth about strategy, quality and logistics. Subjects during this year include International People Management, Corporate Marketing Communication, Quality Management and Export Management & Logistics.
In the third year you follow your chosen specialisation and can choose to go abroad on an exchange programme. Your final year largely comprises your internship period and Thesis.
