Do you have a genuine interest in Information Technology and an appetite for mathematics? Would you like to work and collaborate with fellow students from all over the world? Do you want to be trained in analysing and solving problems using standard and self-designed, custom-built software? If so, then this programme is ideal for you.

As a professional Mathematical engineer, you will be a motivated fast-thinker who enjoys working in a dynamic and and specialised environment. You will need good communication skills, and will know how to implement your analytical skills and technological knowledge. You will move from solving day-to-day technical problems to helping your organisation realize its strategy.

Programme content


The programme is organised along the guidelines of an engineering degree. It is built around a number of subject areas. The subject areas are Mathematics and Statistics, Software Development, Networking, Database Management Systems, Internet Programming, Information Science, Computer Hardware,  Economics and Management and Communication Skills. The program also offers the Cisco CCNA and Cisco CCNP programmeing

The university doesn't currently offer a related Masters programme, taught through English
