Programme profile
This is an intense 3 year programme, designed to give students professional preparation for a career in film, television or digital media. This is accomplished through theoretical courses and practical exercises as well as extensive "hands-on-film" work where students have the opportunity to master the technical and aesthetic principles of filmmaking
Programme content
The first year consists of mastering the fundamentals in the key disciplines of filmmaking in a predominately hands-on-film curriculum coupled with theoretical and film culture classes in the first and second semesters.
In the second year, students will choose a specialisation – directing, production, cinematography, screenwriting or editing. During the second semester, students have additional required courses in their specialization as well as workshops, and one-to-one tutoring.
In the third year, the emphasis is on the students thesis project in the area of their specialisation. All third year courses and workshops are tailored to the specificities of this project
