This programme is designed to train professionals in geo-environmental analysis, management of the environment and land use through a sustainable approach. The programme looks at the maintenance and protection of biodiversity and the management/reduction of risks arising from improper use of natural resources.

From the second yearm students specialise in EITHER:

- Envirnmental Sciences

Year 1: Chemistry: Evolution of Biosphere; Mathematics and Statistics; Physics; Fundamentals of Geology

Specialisation in Environmental Sciences

Year 2: Animal Biodiversity and Protozoology; Plant Biodiversity; Environmental Economics;Physical Geography and Climatology; Elective courses; Mineralogy; Land analysis

Year 3: Animal Anatomy and Physiology; Geobotany and Ecology; Environmental Monitoring and Assessment; Geochemistry and Petrogenesis; Environmental Geology and Law; Geomorphology; Elective courses; Internship;' Thesis

Specialisation in Geology
