Programme profile
This programme has has three streams:
- ICT & Software Engineering,
- ICT & Business
- ICT & Technology
The first semester is identical for each stream, giving you an opportunity to find out which stream suits you best.
From the second semester. you can choose to continue either in ICT & Software Engineering, ICT & Business or ICT & Technology with specialisations in Cyber Security, Game Design & Technology, Management & Security, Open Innovation, Smart Mobile and many more. Projects and internships, related to your chosen stream, are an integrated part of the programme
Programme content
In the first year, you follow courses and projects in three study programs. In the first semester you will focus on basic ICT related subjects; from the second semester you will focus on more subjects relates to either ICT & Software Engineering, ICT & Business or ICT & Technology.
In the second year, you will spend 3 days of classes in your chosen study program and 2 days in 1 or 2 specializations of your choice. You will also work on projects offered by ICT companies. At the end of the second year, you can decide what your final specialization will be.
In the third year you will do your first internship for six months. The last semester of the fourth year will be your graduation semester in a company.
Entry Requirements
Two A-Levels and four GCSEs OR relevant BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma
Six passes at Leaving Cert, 2 at H4 or relevant QQI/FETAC Level 5
