Programme profile
The program consists of 6 years (12 semesters) which include pre-clinical subjects: anatomy, biochemistry, biophysics, physiology with cytophysiology, histology with embryology and basics of cell biology, microbiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, toxicology and many others as well as clinical subjects: internal medicine, paediatrics, surgery, gynaeology and obstetrics, psychiatry, family medicine, emergency medicine, neurology, oncology, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, infectious diseases and others.
Practical clinical teaching during 6th year (together with a summer internship, in 5th year, of six weeks in a specialty chosen by the student) includes courses in clinics or hospital wards in areas such as internal diseases, paediatrics, surgery, gynaeology and obstetrics, psychiatry, emergency medicine and family medicine

Entry Requirements
Three A-Levels (inc. two from Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths) and three GCSEs
Siz passes at Leaving Certificate, inc 2 x H5. Subjects to include two from Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths
