Programme profile
This programme has been consistently highly ranked by the Hungarian Accreditation Committee and, as well asby the EU state licensing authorities, is recognised by both the New York State Educational Department and the State of California.
The first two years serve as the foundation of basic medical knowledge. From the third year training is extended with regular clinical practice, where students intensively take part in the work of the clinical departments and the teaching hospitals.The Faculty's excellent laboratories offer students a wide range of opportunities for those who would like to undertake high standard scientific research activities. In the last two semesters, the internship year, students perform clinical rotations of 37 weeks.
The university recommends that "for a proper accomplishment of clinical practice, a certain proficiency in the Hungarian language is necessary"

All graduates are entitled to particiapte in the US Medical Licensing Examination [USMLE]

3 A-levels + 3 GCSE (Grades between A and C)
Six subjects at Leaving Certificate including at least two 2 at H5.
